Welcome (Will Delete Later)

It’s 11.23pm (23:23) on New Year’s Eve and I’m on my laptop trying to write a quick welcome post that will be met with silence. I had imagined that 2025 would be the year that I went all in on writing on Substack but the universe had other plans, instead I’ve been lurking on the sidelines - inhaling the thinkpieces and notes from a bunch of writers that I probably never would have discovered.

There’s something quite on brand about me showing up just as the party’s warmed up and the main action is about to go down—just ask my friends. So here’s to kickstarting my writing journey on Substack and whatever 2026 has ahead. Hopefully, it’s filled with creativity, connection and community.

Better late than never, I guess.

P.s. I’ll probably replace this post with the ‘real’ welcome I wanted to share but like I said it’s NYE and I want to catch the countdown.
